Since i'm new here, first of all: hello to everyone ! - I will appreciate your help.

The main problem is a non working nic in a HP 8300 USDT.
The configuration menu item for the nic, within the Bios is gone as well.

So might be a defective nic, or a corrupted bios/firmware ? - Is there an easy way to sort that out ?

It seems things like missing nics could happen, when flashing from very old, to latest bios, leaving out intermediate updates.

I first tried to downgrade to earlier bios-versions - without luck. There is a BBR-jumper on the mainboard, but it seems not to have the desired/described funktion.
So went on with ME-firmware (FDO-jumper works) as described here:

This led me to a disabled ME, and a still missing nic-configuration option.

So beside the still active ManufacturingMode, there is specific oem data missing ?

The extracted ME-region from MEInject had just 7599KB - smaller than expected by fpt.

I have a second PC, same make/model which is working fine. It may be used as a donor ?

I could even flash the whole bios dump from one to the other, but have no idea how to keep the individual data then. ( mac, serial ... )
