Hi guys.

With the proximity of Win11, could any of you (like @Lost_N_BIOS) create a modded BIOS (.CAP file) for the ASUS Gryphon Z87 motherboard to include TPM 2.0 support?

I successfuly managed to buy and downgrade -to v1.2- a TPM module from Supermicro a few days ago.
Had to do this because ASUS no longer commercialize the following:

Luckily, the AOM-9665V-C works like a charm, but the latest Gryphon's BIOS update doesn't support TPM 2.0 (required by Windows 11).

If you upload a new modded BIOS with this TPM 2.0 support I'll just upgrade my TPM module to v2.0.

I'm aware that TPM 2.0 extensions can be aggregated from SABERTOOTH Z87's .CAP file into the Gryphon's one (being both with the Z87 chipset).
I'd also like to know how could I accomplish such task and what tools should I investigate.

There, you can see TPM 2.0 support was added in 2017/04/07.

Hi, I am having the same problem as you, except my motherboard is a Z97I-PLUS motherboard. I own a SuperMicro 9665V-C chip as well, and TPM 2.0 does not work on my motherboard after plugging in the chip into the 20-1 pin header.

The Z87 SABERTOOTH board was updated to support TPM 2.0 You can see that from the second "Trusted Computing" section under the Advanced Tab shown in AMIBCP v4.55:



The Z87 SABERTOOTH's setup/structures are on the top part of the image, the Z97I-PLUS are on the bottom part of the image. I speculate that your Z87 GRYPHON motherboard also does not have this second trust computing setup/structures section.
