@tikanot Did you transfer the setttings from the old vbios to the new one, with BMP?

Hi,
already got a lot information on this site� really great work� thanks.

I'm trying to update my BIOS to get a KabyLake I7-7700 working on a ASUS G20CB Mainboard (Rev. 1.06), PCH = H170, which originally runs with a SkyLake (i7-6700). The extracted VBIOS.dat and UBU says it has the version 1024. Now i´m searching for the corresponding BSF (maybe skl_1024.bsf), but didn´t found it anywhere.

Does anyone have this script file?

Is there another way to update VBIOS?

EDIT: okay... i should read point 3*� there are compatibilities� sorry. my mistake.

The quiet ones are the ones that change the universe, the loud ones only take the credit...

Managed to update vbios, ME, uCodes and more. Tomorrow I will flash the image. Will it blend� ah... work

Update: It doesn´t work� even another version, with just vbios, GOP and uCode-update fails to boot.

@SoniX Maybe you have got OROM VBIOS+BSF files for CherryView version 1005? I know it is very old but as I said here I need it to mod bios for my Acer.
