I'm not sure I understand your problem completely...

With my old Asus graphics card, I also had problems with the LED - Controller on the graphics card.
When switching the LED color, the color sometimes only remained white.

-Reset your motherboard.
-Try changing the color with the current Asus software AURA SYNC UTILITY.

When switching the color, the graphics card should flash white or blue and then display the set color.

I started out thinking what you attached was a later version of the original posting sorry about that. My Issue is not with Windows but MacOS. on a real MacPro5,1. With the new OpenCore bootloader we now can get a boot screen during the initial boot with unsupported grphics card compared to supported EFI mac approved cards that give you the initial boot screen. With the proper GOP and OpenCOre we can now get the boot screen on unsupported or non EFI Mac Graphics cards so they boot up like a MAc EFI Graphics card. I was told to flash the factory rom to bring it back to stock in case someone changed the setting and re-flashed the card with new settings or in case it was a miner's rom flashed card. Well flashing the stock rom did not help and running this Script to update the GOP didn't either. I was told by MacRumors forum that running this script may break the signature or CRC is why I am not getting the initial boot screen. Right now I am trying to get EVGA to get me both a stock factory rom and a final rom with their latest GOP to see if this will work or not. The GOP has a couple of stages and if the initial GOP module stage isn't right you get a black screen boot. I don't know how many stages there are for the GOP but I know from reading about it there are at least two stages.

Im talking about the white led light on the motherboard. The new asus Strix x570 Has this feature. Its an indicator that your vga / gpu has gone out. Mine is working completely without any problems, but the white vga light remains constantly on because the system does not sync with the displayport automatically. Thats what led me to this forum. I want to update the gop on my gpu but have no luck doing so.

If its not too much to ask, could you please update the gop on this bios:

Im sorry, can i ask u told that the problem is related to GOP/VGA Bios in ur card that seems to work fine as u said before?
U r talking about the VGA LED on ur motherboard in POST/BOOT sequence...so can we assume that the problem/bug is in the motherboard and not in gpu?
I really dont understand all the mess that u`ve been doing with ur VGA bios, do u still have the original one that came in the card?
Dont recall reading it...but r u using latest bios in the motherboard?
Do have a chance to test another gpu card on it?

Everything has been done correctly so far.

nvflash is sometimes a bit headstrong.
nvflash modifies the BIOS files a little before they are written.
At AMDVBFLASH it is different - he writes the bios data exactly as they are.
Something went wrong with nvflash.

Get an older version of nvflash v5.541.0
and use the original bios first 105.rom

Have a plan b if the card no longer boots.

Hi im using the latest bios for my motherboard. Yes you are right, the problem is with the boot sequence, it gets stuck with the vga light on. I couldnt get anything to work, the only thing i found related was the official gop Updater from nvidia but sadly it doesnt work for turing gpus, i did try an older 1080ti With no issues. Thanks

hi, i used the file that you patched. this one in particular "216692_updGOP.rom"
but once i flash the said file using nvlash64, the uefi information disappears.

i do an nvlfash64 -v and this is what it says:

1. disable dispaly driver in device manager
2. nvflash64 --protectoff
3. nvflash64 -6 216692_updGOP.rom
4. nvflash64 -v (to check on the version)

Hi, I've manually modded the original Asus (Techpowerup link) 2070 Super bios with latest Turing UEFI Gop.

Try it via the same nvflash version you used before for flashing back the original bios and report feedback please.

ps: everyhting was working fine before i switched from asus rog b450e to asus rog x570e. maybe because there was no checking sequence present in the old b450. display port is detected right away during cold boots. after changing to x570 ive had all sorts of problems with the gop / dsiplayport not being detected. i cant enter bios, and it goes straight to windows and it stays stuck with the white vga light on. to isolate the problem, i tried using my friend's 1080ti and it was flawless. he updated it using nvdia's official gop updater which unfortunately does not work with newer nvidia turing cards.
