You could attach the GTX 770 Amp! vBIOS you're going to use as well as a dump of your GTX 680 in order to properly comparing files
and see what's wrong.

Thank you for the answer! I attached a rar containing both the original roms and the GOP-updated ones: the files named "GK104" are dumps of my 680's vBIOS.

Thank you, I tried the files. Unfortunately nothing has changed: the GK104 BIOS works perfectly but when I flash the 770 one the screen stays black until I enter Windows. Any other idea? Thanks.

EDIT: Just an update. If I modify via a Hex editor the 770 rom so that the Board, Subsystem Device & Vendor IDs match the 680 ones, the logo screen and UEFI menu become in fact visible, but Windows can't load the driver for the board: it shows a yellow exclamation mark under device manager pointing at an interruption of the device with error code 43. I already tried to completely remove the Nvidia driver and reinstall it with no luck.

I haven't any other idea mate, I'm very sorry.

Edit: just a quick update. I noticed that the BIOS I edited via Hxd had a bad checksum. I fixed it with kgb and now Windows correctly loads the driver, so apparently everything is now working. Thanks again!

I assume AMD card, maybe VEGA.

I programmed my Vega 64 with the modded GOP 2.7.0.0. Works fine so far. Thanks again.

For reference, my card is a MSI Vega 56 Air Boost with the Vega 64 Air Boost Bios variant.

I briefly comment on my case. I have a MSI GTX 1060 graphics card, defective, unstable. If I lower the frequency with MSI Afterburner, (only 100 MHz "Memory clock". I dont touch the "core clock" ), the card becomes completely stable again.

Would it be possible to modify the bios with just that modification?

The graphics card is not under warranty, so I can not do anything with it.
