Are you sure, your windows install pendrive is made for EFI/GPT ?

This is screen from my bios and os installer. The Cruzer is a pendrive with win 10. Installer is in Polish language 😀 "hardware does not support boot from this drive. Make sure that The controller is on in bios menu" When i boot usb drive in UEFI mode the bios not started with warning " ni bootable devices us detected, system will enter the bios setup utility."

Storage boot options = "UEFI and Legacy" or "UEFI only".
Boot mode = UEFI.

I'm pretty sure you aren't using EFI/GPT enabled Windows installation - that's why you don't see option for your pendrive... either way, first change boot options to include UEFI booting and see what it does.

If those don't work : Create new installation pendrive with Rufus (GPT/EFI/FAT32).

@FLX if you were using .rom BIOS, that's not renamed exactly like the original then, that was the issue maybe, it has to be exact same filename.andextension as stock BIOS.
Yes, FPT must be used correctly, and with correct files and proper commands (Not used at all with stock BIOS generally, you'll loose your serial, UUID and sometimes LAN MAC ID too)

Hello friends.

I want to buy a NVMe disk and install it in my board, in which there is no official support for NVME.
I used the instructions attached in this thread. I modified the BIOS and flashed it onto my Gigabyte GA-970A UD3p (2.0). The BIOS was also flashed, and the module that adds NVMe is present in it.

Question: the manual says that a PATA or PATA SS drive should appear in the BIOS. Does it appear when the NVMe drive is already plugged into the computer, or should it appear just after flashing?
I haven’t bought the disk yet, but I want to know if I have correctly updated the BIOS for working with this disk?

Thank you so much for checking out. I am very glad that it turned out to flash the BIOS correctly. Now it remains only to the store, for the brand new NVME SSD from Samsung :)

I will write when the SSD will be purchased, and share impressions.

Successfully added NVME in P8H77-V-LE
1. Read (backup) full bios through FTK8\DOS to file.
2. Add "NvmExpressDxe_4.ffs" by MMTool 5.02_patched to bios file.
3. Remove lock (find offset by AMISetup_IFR, unlock by boot EFI command line)
4. Prepare bios file by FD44Copier
5. Flash by FTK8\DOS

Hay gays, problem resolved. I make a New instalation usb Disk by Rufus and... its work. Thank you for the instruction and all help. Regards.
