Unsure: Will TRIM in RAID0 modded Intel RAID ROM v13.1.0.2030 variants work?

After having done a deeper look into the hex codes of the Intel RAID ROM v13.1.0.2030 I do not really recommend to flash it into any Intel 4/5/6-Series Chipset mainboard.
Reasons:

Until now there is only a Beta version of the Intel RST(e) drivers v13 available.
The IRST v13 series is primarily designed for the Intel 8-Series and the upcoming Intel 9-Series chipsets and not optimized for older Intel chipsets.
Starting with v13.1.0.2030 Intel has changed the Intel RAID ROM section, which is responsible for the TRIM in RAID0 support.
Bad consequence: It is rather uncertain, that a TRIM modded Intel RAID ROM v13.1.0.2030 will support TRIM in RAID0 at all.

Nevertheless I have prepared 2 test versions of the Intel RAID ROM v13.1.0.2030 mod for P67+Z68, which have been modified by me a different way. It seems possible for me, that one of them may work, but I don't know which one. Since just 2 Bytes of the TRIM section were altered, there will be no big risk to brick the mainboard by flashing the modded BIOS. Nevertheless a system backup should be done and an original BIOS should be prepared for an emergency case.

Courageous P67 or Z68 RAID0 users, who want to test them, should send me an eMail (fernando.uno@gmail.com) with the link to the BIOS they want to get modified.
As soon as I get the feedback, that one of the modded test BIOSes definitively supports TRIM in RAID0 for P67 and Z68 chipsets, I will offer some modded variants of the Intel RAID ROM v13.1.0.2030 within the start post of this thread.

I will replace the linked file as soon as possible by the correct one.

Just noticed that there is a new 3.2.1.0 version of AHCI ROM for AMD ( thanks to kgbab) .

Will try to see if it is working with older SB7XX AMD southbrigde....

Smaller file size, only 118 KB.

AHCI mode tested & worked on ASUS P5Q Deluxe board. RAID mode is not supposed to be working, so .....

Hi Fernando,
I just finished setting my new 2x ssd raid 0 on my asus p8p67 pro and it seems like trim is sadly not working.
I replaced the raid rom module (8086-2822) of the bios with the one you suggested me (modded IRST(e) ROM v11.6.0.1702 for p67) before flashing it, then i created my raid 0 array before installing windows 7 on it.
Then I pre-installed the drivers IRST v.11.7.4.1001, finished the windows installation and installed the IRST software/console of the same version (v.11.7.4.1001).
When I use fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify I get 0 as I should, but using the HxD method, the characters are still there after deletion of the file used (not all 0's or F's).
Is there anything I can do to find out what's wrong ?

Hey Fernando, I just updated my Asus R3E bios (ZioMod) with OROM v13.1.0.2030. I've tested it both with 12.9 and with beta 13.1 Intel RST drivers, and I can confirm that everything is working as usual on our old X58 chipset. Benchmarks are giving pretty good results too, in line with the old v11.5 drivers/OROM combo, which still holds the best performance results but was a bit unstable (IMHO). Also, TRIM seems to work! Here's the output from Trimcheck:

TRIM should be active within your P67 RAID0 array after having flashed the BIOS with the P67/Z68 TRIM modded Intel RAID ROM v11.6.0.1702.
Question:
Which SSDs (manufacturer and sort) are the members of the RAID0?
Tip:
Please download the newest version 1.1.0 of Anvil's Storage Utility (you can get it from >this< site) and trigger TRIM. After having done that, retry the manual TRIM check.

Additional questions:

According to your signature at bios-mods.com you are running a single 256 GB Samsung 830 SSD. Is this still actual?
Is your Intel SATA Controller running in AHCI or RAID mode?

The members of my RAID 0 are 2x Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 240GB drives, but one is slightly older (MKNSSDCR240GB-DX) than the other (MKNSSDCR240GB - DX7).
From what I know they are the same except the newest version is 7mm thick instead of 9.5 but the same Firmware is installed on both.
I just tried triggering TRIM on Anvil's Storage Utility and it gave me this message:

Triggering TRIM completed on drive C:

All drives do not respond to the "TRIM" command!
If the drive responds, it could take minutes before the drive is ready and back to full speed.

Then when I press OK the drives kind of freeze for 1-2 minutes before it's back to normal and after testing again, trim still doesn't seem to work.

EDIT: I don't know what changed, but TRIM now appears to be working !
Thank you so much for all your guides and ressources, I finally have my raid fully working with trim enabled !

Hi ZioGTS. It's you friend sinders from bios-mods.

I haven't actually tried the new OROM v13.1.0.2030 yet.

I take it this new OROM seems to enable TRIM in RAID0 for us as standard without having to mod
the OROM itself or is the screenshot you posted actually TRIM working with a single drive?
