You should choose BV for Colibri, it doesn't read/write properly otherwise, and or may not have JV in it's database for that version. If you want to dump with JV ID, use ASProgrammer.
It's mainly about what chip's info is used per ID chosen, if incorrect values are used then read/write will fail and not all programs are totally compatible with JV ID yet so older/previous ID is used instead.

First, write the BIOS Only (16MB file) and see if system starts, if it does not, then find and write W25Q80 (1MB) chip (AFTER first dumping the chip)
Then if system still does not start some other chip has been messed up during your mixed-up update fiasco

Once working with above files, update to 1.3.0 using standard exe update process.

There are two other 8 pin chips in addition to the 25q128 and q80 as well, a Winbond 25X20CLNIG, and an unbranded one labeled APL5934DAU62W. What do the 25Q80 and those other two do?

edit2***: Colibri didnt have "auto" option like in step 3 of CH314 guide , so i just eased, blank checked, opened the bios bin and then clicked write.
Is that ok?

i loaded up the ch314 to check it and for some reason now the comparison comes back with 2946932 differences between the info on my 25q128 chip, and the bios you gave me. Also when i hit erase originally it said the status register contained data and that might make the erasure incomplete, whats up with that?

edit: i used asprogrammer to do everything over again and it came back with one verification error, and when i loaded it in Colibri just to check, that verify came back with even more errors than before...

The status register boxes with checks are s09, s21, and s22 @Lost_N_BIOS

I reflashed them again and got no differences but my laptop still wont turn on :/ i guess its dead for good bc i cant get anyone to help me, if i was able to fix it i was gonna compensate u :c

and contacting an eBay seller to get the bios bin. I used this seller who also sells your chip https://www.ebay.com/itm/BIOS-CHIP-for-D...NcAAMXQdGJRzlbC ask for the bin after buying the chip and they will email it to you. flash your bios and only your bios with that bin and it should boot after 5-10 boot loops. you will have to set your service tag but hey the computer is back to life

hi i am new and i am stuck in a problem, i have dell 9020 mini tower and its bios is bricked, I have ch341a bios chip programmer and wand to program bios chip but have no luck to find or extract the programmable file from bios .exe file, can any body can help me out
