AMI Aptio IV is z97 thank god... i thought i had V. The reason i asked is that intel has released new microcode.dat file and i was wondering if i can use their latest file dated 1/21/15 in link below or if it was already built into you Beta 4 UBU. I have used UBU before and follow your work and Frenandos.

Hi Fernando. Can you answer a question for me please. Intel has released a new microcode dated 1/21/2015 in the link below. SoniX said it can be done with z97 but i do not know how. I do not want to screw it up....

Use UBU v1.9.0, what SoniX told you is that your board is Aptio IV based. So, you can use UBU with no issues.

yes i understand that but when i ran ubu newest beta the micro code was dated around 7/12/14 intel has released a much newer version which according to Sonix i can use with UBU i just dont know how...

For Hasvell processors, the latest version of microcode - 1C (cpu000306C3_plat32_ver0000001C_date#03-07-2014). It is already present in the package UBU.
This package from Intel includes microcode on different processors. So do not be confused, version and date of the whole package of the package may be newer, and the desired microcode you may have an older date.

ok so for devils canyon latest mc is 1c & supersedes 19 as shown in mm tool below. Thank you for having patience with me.

Added:
Microcode processor 06C1 and 06C2 are not needed. This engineering processors and almost never occur in sales for the casual user.

Intel GOP ValleyView as 7.0.xxxx
Versioning in Intel LAN UNDI version 3.xx.xx
AMD GOP has not yet done. Well then see what can be done with Realtek LAN UNDI. While there are no ideas.
