Hi friend, just make three posts or replies and you will free to write and make all !

You have to unlock the Eeprom , so you need to follow the tutorial and use the RU shell to write into the NVRAM variables ... it's easy ;)

FPRR VarOffset - 0x6DD
BIOS Lock VarOffset - 0x17

Change 0x01 to 0x00 ...

You'll find under PchSetup [4570B7F1-ADE8-4943-8DC3-406472842384] GUID

To make a bios backup, just run by double click Dump.bat program into FPT14 folder, then to reflash back the biosreg.bin , use Write.bat program.
If you will get any error and completed , then you can flash the biosremod.bin file , present into the same folder using the Writemod.bat, run at
same way ...

After Flashing the mod , please make a Bios Menu Tabs Photo and upload here to check that all is ok

acually i dont think it is properly unlocked as xtu still does not work and i cannot seem to find anywhere in the bios to undervolt?

hmm for some unknown reason throttle stop wont let me unlock

Hello, I have completed steps 1, 2, can you help me modify it. My model is Gigabyte 15g xc 10870 3070

Update: I have successfully unlocked using the file you posted above, thank you again for your dedication. . This machine limits the total power consumption of CPU+GPU to 160W. Do you have a way to break the limit? @BDMaster

Hello @BDMaster I have attached my biosreg.bin for my Aorus 15G KC (RTX 3060) with the logs of the fptw command.

Please help me with unlocking it and instructions on how to properly flash it

Toflash the bios mod, just run by double click Write.bat program into FPT14 folder :

So you started from the end, may be ... and made only the bios backup ;)

Make the full process and at the end write again the bios mod and upload the Photo like the other users to check if all is ok.

Hey @BDMaster I have now created a USB with rufus and have the RU.efi in my drive at EFI/BOOT/bootx64.efi

The problem is I cannot boot into the USB, it says Secure Boot Violation, I know it has to do with Secure Boot Policy, but I cannot find the Secure Boot Policy option in BIOS Setup, what do I do?

@BDMaster Yes im looking around on other pages of the discussion and other people have this issue, I don't have Secure Boot Option in my Security tab (I will attach screenshot from phone. EDIT: I can cuz of attachment size limit)

You can try this :

Getting secure boot in the BIOS disabled so you can use the Linux Distro.
BIOS -> Boot -> CSM (Compatibility Support Module) -> Launch CSM -> Enabled
1. Boot mode -> UEFI and Legacy
2. Boot from Network -> Legacy (old drives); or UEFI mode (for NVME/SSD drives)
3. Boot from Storage -> Legacy (old drives); or UEFI mode (for NVME/SSD drives)
4. Boot from PCIE/PCI -> Legacy (old drives); or UEFI mode (for NVME/SSD drives)
5. Go back to Boot -> Secure Boot -> OS Type -> Windows UEFI Mode (Windows 10/8.1/8) and Other OS (for Windows 7)

@BDMaster Hey, before you posted, I already searched for these issues and found some useful tools and guides to go into ru.efi without disabling secure boot, i ma in ru.efi now, I have already entered PchSetup and changed the 0x17 to 0x0 but I cannot find 0x6DD I might need help with that please, thank you so much

EDIT: Ok I managed to read help instructions in RU.efi and managed to get to 0x6DD, its already 0 so i won't touch it, I did ctrl + w to write changes, is that all?

EDIT 2: After making changes in RU.efi I booted to windows, ran the Write.bat again and I got file not found error, I checked the bat file it uses command:
fptw.exe -f biosreg.bin -bios BUT the bin file in folder is: biosregmod.bin, should I change the Write.bat with new name and try again?

EDIT 3: Should I be running Write.bat or WriteMod.bat because WriteMod.bat has: fptw.exe -f biosregmod.bin -bios which you provided in the folder, I'm waiting for your answer friend, I appreciate your help ALOT!
