Already flashed. Is it important at which PCIe port the ssd is plugged in? After installing Windows 10 and reboot there is just a blackscreen with a blinking curser. Its plugged in in a x16 Adapter in the upper slot.

Yes it works!!! To be honest im in shock it works. Thanks for instruction.

I only flashed new modified bios with nvme driver and it works even on Legacy Rom.
Tested on Adata SX6000 pro 512GB:




Not great, not terrible. Save speed is not great i wonder why. And 4k speeds are also not the best because that SSD is rather low end.
I bought ICY BOX IB-PCI215M2-HSL pci adapter.

Even restored macrium reflect image works. First boot was blu screen "innacessiable boot device" But after F4 mode and just restart it started working excellent.

Damn for Pcix 2x4 are very nice.

During windows cloning (170GB) from 870 Evo, hit max temperatures in celcius:
Temperature 1: 44
Temperature 2: 51

Temperatures from HW Info. Its seems 980Pro has 2 temperature sensors.

Hello, I tried to mod my BIOS but it seems that not even the compressed small version fits, can anyone here help me to get it working?

My motherboard is the P8P67-M non pro version and this is the lastest BIOS:

If you have only MBR partitions don't change PCI ROM PRIORITY to EFI. Leave it in legacy mode. In my case I received black screen with efi, so I had to reset bios with jumper. I cloned MBR win10 to fresh MBR partition nvme (i used macrium reflect). I tried to convert source partition to GPT with command provided by rjhwuk but i received error that it's not possible to shrink partition etc. So I used that command after cloning on destination disk (nvme) and it converted without errors. To get full speed of nvme I had to set x4 for PCI in bios settings. Below my setup and results.

MB: ASUS P8Z68-V LX
CPU: i7 2600k
Adapter: ICY BOX IB-PCI208-HS
NVMe: Samsung 980 1tb
