Umh this is the first time i'm writing in this forum so pardon me if i put this in the wrong section

I just wanted to know if there is a SAFE way to change HPET in the bios as asus doesn't show the setting.

Also if i am able to change the setting but to an incorrect value would i be able to recover my bios by clearing cmos or my mb is bricked?

Yes, I can make visible for you, but you will have to flash in mod BIOS and do some other things first so you can flash in mod BIOS (Little involved, but I've written a guide for this).
Please confirm this is your motherboard model/BIOS download page - https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG.../HelpDesk_BIOS/

Enable/disable either would not brick your board, and you can change by rebooting back to BIOS and change, clear CMOS would not be required.

Hmm, that shouldn't be set! Yes, please do as mentioned above, but also add this command below after the first command I gave you above, then reboot and dump again and try to reflash.
If still fails, send me the new dumped file and image of the error, if different. You may need flash programmer to get around FPRR set, it's a pain and shouldn't be enabled by default

So, at grub prompt, do the following, one line at a time, enter after each
