Thanks Gummin and Lost_N_BIOS for pointing it out that it was accidentally omitted.

I have attached two of Intel's Microcode Update Guidances (that are not publicly available) that show the source of my information.

[Edit] Added a microcodes for CPUID 80650 Knights Mill Xeon Phi.

[Edit] Added CPUID 306F0 Haswell-EP ES Xeon E5 v3 (thanks to JanCerny) to the intel_microcodes.zip archive.

[Edit] Replaced 506E3 (Skylake) pre-spectre microcode BE with BA as per Intel's Microcode Update Guidance (8th Feb 2018) as BE has partial spectre mitigation.

Also, question, 106E5 - Does this have a pre-spectre (2015-06-30 ver 8), or is latest ver0000000A_2018-05-08 also Pre-Spectre/Meltdown

@Lost_N_BIOS I found some info published by Intel regarding CPUID 106E5 patched microcodes. Here are 3 PDF files, first from 2018 march and second from 2018 april and third from 2018 august.
First one shows "Pre-Mitigation Production MCU" as "0x08", second PDF shows "New Production MCU Rev" as "0x09". And in third one "Pre-Mitigation Production MCU" is now shown as "0x09", but "New Production MCU Rev" is "0x0A".

So I think first Spectre/Meltdown patch is 9, second and final is A, and pre-mitigation is 8 ?

@Lost_N_BIOS Sticky sounds good - might save people some time searching.

I think 07 is pre-mitigation and both 08 & 09 may have partial mitigation - do you have the rev 08 binary? It would be interesting to know the production date.

I have added a socket 1156 folder with '106E5 Clarksfield, Lynnfield, Lynnfield Xeon' microcodes to the main archive.

So, if user wants pre for sure, he needs to use rev 7, correct? Here is rev 8 binary, date is 2015 so we assumed pre as well (?) - https://ufile.io/ca8lma04

@Lost_N_BIOS I didn't know that the 2015-06-30 date was directly from the ver 08 binary, I didn't realise you had it and thought you were speculating from reading it somewhere

It proves ver 08 is pre-mitigation for sure so I have swapped it with ver 07 in the pre-spectre archive and added it to the main archive so thanks for that link.

Did you if this microcode cpu306F2_plat6F_ver0000003C_2018-01-19_PRD_20E09DE3.bin is with spectre meltdown correction?

@pipes80 Hi, sorry for late reply, the pre-spectre micrcocode for your 5960x is cpu306F2_plat6F_ver0000003A_2017-01-30_PRD_27CCCEA2.bin and can be found in the pre-spectre archive linked in the 2nd post above.

Update: Added a socket 1366 folder for Bloomfield/Gulftown/Westmere and pre-spectre microcodes where applicable.

Note: CPUID 106A4 (Bloomfield quadcore) has no microcode for spectre/meltdown mitigation.
