I have laptop asus K52je with amd 5470m and internal intel gpu disabled. I can open bios image in AMI Aptio UEFI MMTool v4.50.0.23. Bios contains 5 linked roms: 1. AMD GPU bios id 1002,68e0 2. AMD bios id 1002,9553 (M92 family - hell dont know what for) 3. PXE jmicron id 19b7,250 4. Another PXE 8086,10ea 5. intel vga compatible bios id 8086.42.
Now, there is brother to my laptop k52jt with gpu HD 6370M and all same specs, but led monitor. The fun part is that 5470m is the same in hardware with 6370m but with different bioses. Question: How safe would be to replace by mmtool my old bios with the new vbios from 6370m k52jt and flash my laptop? Did anybody touch this hardware? Would be possible to enable some features in bios/efi like disable hyperthreading (i have no such option) or enable internal intel gpu (if that's disabled in bios). Anybody knows what else can be modded in this type of bios? There is hardly any information about modding asus k5x series. What you guys think?

Only users, who have already tried it, will be able to answer this question, but I doubt, that there is anyone.
