By the way. The size of archives can be reduced by deleting files:
- HexFind == FindHex
- FindVer
- DrvVer
- UEFITool's utilites
They are standard for all versions of UBU.

An exception can be made for MEA, MCE, mCodeFIT.
UEFITool Utilities can be found on GitHub.
The functionality of these utilities has not changed since the beginning of the project.

Release OROMReplace v0.1.0 is ready.
Will be integrated with version 1.79. But it can be used separately.

Added:

Exception for OROM LAN Intel, Broadcomm, Lx and SATA Marvell. Before replacing OROM, you need to configure Device ID. So Hex editor will be needed to see the desired Device ID in the container. If replacement is manual.

UBU_v1_71_1 --> nested parent folder --> fixed
UBU_v1_42_0 --> update exe not needed --> removed
Duplicates removed, I have cleared by browser cache & cookies and hopefully they stay gone.

I agree with keeping the executables as Winrar handles the duplicates very well and 7 years worth of UBU files coming to a total of ~181MB is very reasonable.

In regards to UEFITool, I can see references to it in UBU_v1_70_aXX_Dev to replace Aptio V microcodes?

There are two versions of UEFITool (0.25 & 0.28) in UBU_v1_76 and later which may be there to adress the Aptio IV issues with MMTool?

I will leave them in for now unless SoniX can give us the specifics.

When you update the Intel Ethernet and Intel GOP firmware with UBU Tool, like in Z390 BIOS's, does it actually only affect them on boot but not in the O/S, I think it transfers over to the drivers in the O/S and the firmware isn't actually used in Windows at all?

LAN modules I do not update. They do not make sense at all.
GOP driver is essentially VBIOS. Without it, there will be no video kernel initialization. The driver is responsible not only for stable operation in BIOS, but also in the OS.

OLD UBU Archive.

In general, you can create a separate archive of "UBU_helper_utils". And transfer some utilities to this archive, such as:
-- current/last version
-- DrvVer
-- FindHex/HexFind
-- FindVer
-- cecho
-- VBIOS2Pad
-- SetDevID
-- BRenamer (asus)
In these utilities there is no binding to versions of UBU.

mCodeFIT - Adapted to the version of UBU.
MEA/MCE - leave as is

UEFIFind - I don’t remember which build was the change in the command line.
Other versions of UT/UE/UR are not critical. UBU checks for the necessary files.

Isn't "UBU_v1.54-incl-Upd.1.rar" the same as "v1.5.4 (Missing --> UBU v1.54 Update 1)"?
You can find it in the 2016 collection.
