Hello! Help solve the problem! Sleep mode does not work in Windows 10 1809!

When the computer comes out of sleep mode, there is no image on the screen. The screen turns on, but remains black. The computer does not respond to any action. It helps only reboot button. After rebooting, at startup, the computer hangs on the Windows logo. Does not respond to any action. It helps only reboot button. The next boot works fine. The problem is only on Windows 10 1809. On other Windows / Linux OS there are no problems!

All the solutions offered on the Internet did not help! I'm interested in updating the BIOS modules of the motherboard for the full operation of Windows 10 1809.

Do you have ACPI Submenu under Advanced, or you don't even have that submenu? Which BIOS version are you using?
And does this board have USB Flashback or do you already know how to flash mod BIOS? I can enable the submenu or settings for you.

No, there is no submenu! Bios latest version 1708. USB Flashback is missing!
The M5A97 R2.0 has the same BIOS settings, but the sleep mode works great!

The difference between the BIOS motherboards that I found is the CPU microcode version. In my BIOS - outdated!

@sazan123 - 1708 was the BIOS I was looking at, so this means we need to enable ACPI submenu for you in Advanced, and I can update the microcodes for you too.

Unless you can find known working version of AFU for mod BIOS and your motherboard then it may take many tries of various versions before you can get a mod BIOS flashed in, unless you have flash programmer(?)
I can send you all AFU's etc, but it's lots of versions so you may need to try 10-20 things. There is also this method, that may work, so you can try that one first, then if it doesn't work I'll send you lots of AFU to try next.

But since I have no USB Flashback and I worry about the failure of the board, I am waiting for the CH341A programmer. After receiving it, I will perform all manipulations with the BIOS of the board!

@sazan123 - be sure to get a U Type Chip extractor too, those legs break and bend super easy if you're not familiar with popping out the chip without an extractor (even if you are familiar with doing it, still happens because of how easily they bend) - only $1 on ebay
And, since you are getting a programmer, do not use the file I posted above, that should only be used for AFU flashing, or Asus tools (AI Suite). Send me your dumped BIOS via programmer and I will edit that for you instead. If you program the BIOS above you'll loose your serial, UUID, DTS Key etc.

Do not program stock BIOS you download! Yes, flash BIOS from Asus normal way EZ Flash or whatever, then dump with programmer, that will be your backup to restore with it any issues ever.
So, you're already on latest BIOS, no need to flash anything, dump current BIOS contents and that will be your backup, then send to me and I will make you new mod BIOS [thumbs-uo]
