@XPLives , thanks for your valuable suggestions. I have modded the driver for GT1030 (according to the guidance of IntiMD) but after installing I did not feel any smoothness. So I changed it to Zotac GT 710 2GB DDR3 fanless, and it works fine. I am using Focusrite Scarlett SOLO USB soundcard. In windows 10 or in Windows 7 the soundcard works fine, but it does not support Windows XP, So in Windows XP I have to use the built-in Realtec soundcard. MSI Z97 gaming 7 has no legacy PCI slot, but I also installed M Audio Delta Audiophile PCI soundcard with PCIe to PCI converter. The M Audio soundcard works fine internally, every application can detect it and use it , but I can't get any audio output from it....I can't hear. It is not the problem of the soundcard because I have tested the soundcard in legacy PCI slot where it is fully working. M Audio Soundcard behaves same in Windows XP too.

The patch I have used is "fix128 - поддержка памяти более 4 Гб в 32-разрядных Windows (XP2003Vista2008788.110) ver 0.48 x86 [2018, RUSENG]" And i attached screenshot of Windows XP's task manager here.

For my DAW I need ASIO supported Audio, realtec is not very good but supports ASIO, Focusrite is good but not supported. Is there any Focusrite support for Win XP?

One more problem I am facing. When I boot into Windows XP, the mouse do not work(hanged), and then I restart with Ctrl+F4, after restart Win XP works fine.

The link was for a post that included the Intel HD Graphics HDMI Video/Audio driver not nVidia. The idea was you could keep the GT 1030 for W7/W10 while using the Intel iGPU for XP Video and Audio via Intel Display Audio using HDMI.

But I'm not sure if ASIO is supported over HDMI used by Intel, AMD, nVidia and if latency is vital then it gets trickier. I do know HDMI can handle higher quality bitrate and more channels since it combines the video and audio into one cable.

Since a lot of newer motherboards phased out legacy PCI slots starting with Z97 it was more common I do not know how good these PCI to PCIe adapters are even though I bought one myself but never tested it to see if they truly worked. :(

But isn't your sound card now sticking up vertically above the bracket mount point because of the extra vertical height caused by the adapter? How are you going to close the computer case shut or do you leave the sound card loosely and no computer case?

But from what it sounds like the PCI->PCIe adapter is not working for some reason so you have two options.

Use a PCIe sound card or USB 1.1/2.0 Audio device that supports ASIO in XP.

Can you provide the link to where you downloaded that XP memory patch for the 32GB? I may have downloaded in the past or some other variants of such memory patches but so far I have not tested one but as far your own testing have you found any instability or BSODs crop up suddenly without warning?

Any programs that won't launch when using this Mem patched XP? Instead I've been testing mainly Server 2003 which supports up to 64GB without patching. I'm curious to find a way to push this past 128GB and 256GB to max out DDR5 when Sapphire Rapids 7nm is available.

What do you like about those audio software programs you listed for XP and what do you use each one of them specifically for? Are there any others you have not listed that are valuable tools to you?

I did a lot of wave editing and MIDI so these tools are interesting for a possible Youtube video production which is why XP is still valuable due to the library of software made for it which may not be available on Windows 10.

There is one other option in the distant future when Windows 10 can only be installed on modern machines if UEFI fully replaces BIOS motherboard but is not my recommendation but a possible solution in the future. You can use "MS Virtual PC" to run XP inside Windows 10 but whether the software compatibility is 100% I do not know.

As for the USB mouse issue, check the Device Manager and make sure it's installed under the Intel eHCI USB 2.0 port and not the Intel xHCI USB 3.0 ports which you can check on the rear will have a Blue color. Make sure you are plugged into the USB 2.0 ports only.

Also regarding the GT 1030 driver INF mod test on XP. When you checked it in Device Manager did it have an exclamation point next to it and did the device say Error Code 10 or did it say it was working properly?

I have found a good motherboard with PCI slot, Gigabyte Z370 HD3P, I have a plan to make a pc with it.

I have mounted my PCI soundcard in a complex way. So I attached a picture also. I have Cooler master HAF 912 cabinet, and there is a vertical PCI slot for riser cards with a thumbscrew. First I mounted the PCI card there. Then connect it with Startech PCIe to PCI converter, on the other side, I installed Storite Riser Card PCI-E Express 1x -16x in a 1X slot of my motherboard, and finally combined them with 4x flex ribbon. I don't expect the soundcard will work fully in this complex connection.

I did not found any PCIe sound card within my budget. Hammerfall cards are too costly.

I downloaded the 128gb patch from rutrackers.net, but this is not available now. If you want I can send my personal Mediafire link for you.

I just patched the XP, so after some work I can say about the pros and cons. Now only negative I face that is about the mouse, after restart it works fine. Yes, it is installed in USB 2.0 port (uppermost red port beside the PS2 port).

Yes, you are right, after installing the modded driver of GT 1030 for XP, there is yellow exclamation point and I got no NVIDIA control panel.

I use Guitar Pro 5 for MIDI sequencing. It is easy than Cakewalk.

@XPLives , I tested my Win XP (32gb RAM) with some Kontakt library. I load a small Kontakt library of about 1.5gb and then I get a warning of low RAM, ignoring that I again a 1gb library and the Kontakt application crashed. So I think this 128gb patch is fake info only, it does not work.

Like I said, the drivers would install, but the 3D-related stuff WON't work. This leaves it with only 2D acceleration. A friend of mine (@Illen to be exact) has got same results when inf-modding the drivers 368.81 drivers for GTX 1060 6GB. https://imgur.com/a/qdAnkt7

@XPLives , have you used Gigabyte Z370 HD3P and it can not detect PCI cards? Strange! If so, then no hope of using PCI cards again. Which Z170 card has PCI slots? Creative PCIe cards are not for professional audio works, they are made for listening and gaming. The best professional PCIe soundcard is RME HDSPe ($849) to costly for me. I have a firewire soundcard M audio profire 610, it was working good, but suddenly stopped working. Somebody says only TI firewire card can successfully connect a firewire soundcard. My firewire card 1394a is of VIA chipset.
Yes, I need good quality microphones too. I have Rodes NT1a condenser microphone, Sennheiser 835s microphone, and Shure PG48 microphone. I have to record vocals, guitars, percussions etc with microphones.
Is Server 2003 32-Bit better than Win XP 32bit? And I have to slipstream AHCI driver again?
