@Iz_SaldbI known issue, use 2xxx version bios should work for 8700.

@revlaay Yeah, right. With version 2003 works. But UEFI requires me to complete the update and requires you to specify a file from the site asus * .cap
How do I get rid of this requirement?

Asus capsule format is just an additional structure around a normal UEFI. With UEFI Tool you can replace the actual data in any .CAP file with your modded .rom/.bin/... . The internal format is the same. Note however that no UEFI option will accept modded UEFI in any form. There are content checks beyond .CAP which are hard to fool. Either you have an unlocked UEFI and access to something like Intel FPT or you need SPI flasher. (unlocked ROG boards will flash modded .CAP using flashback, but I think Z170 Pro Gaming does not have this feature)

Despite the errors displayed in ModTool, the motherboard works with this bios. Вut in the device manager only 8 processors are displayed instead of 12. Although in the BIOS itself it shows correctly, 6 cores and C threads. CPU is i7-8700 ES QN8H

This is expected when ACPI Mod did not work. The UEFI cannot initialise more than 8 logical cores without the mod, though tools that only report CPU functions may still report the actual specs.

I think issue may be directories names was too long created by auto tools in ACPI dir according to dsdtpath

i complete all step and receive 2 file .bin . but i can't flash bios by this file ,EZ flash just detect file.CAP .im using asus b150 gaming d3 . can you help me

Thanks for the quick reply,I am using windows 10 pro and indeed I enabled long path using gpedit.msc to enabled long path long time ago
anyway,I will try the registry way also
