Hi i got an Dell inspiron 620 with the GDG8Y and i would like to know if there is any easy way to use an i5 3470, i mean if its posible with and modded bios or something.

Hi all,
I know it's old post, but I am really interested in making this work.
I have programmer and board, however i'm new to BIOS modding.
I have all knowledge in flashing/restoring but i need help with making BIOS.
If it won't be possible with 4M eeprom, maybe with soldering 8M chip?
