Samsung V-NAND technology does upgrade from v2.0 to v3.0 as explained for Samsung SSD 850 EVO:ici

Samsung 850 EVO SATA 6G , format 2,5 pouce, does also become from EMT02B6Q to EMT03B6Q.

Here is a comparative test of the both versions. New version does perform better than previous one:
