1) Thanks, I was referring to your comment into post #1, I, B chapter:
General notes:
These drivers additionally do support the "Intel(R) Optane(TM) Memory System Acceleration" and the "Intel(R) Smart Response Technology".
Similar to the previously mentioned v15 platform drivers these RAID drivers natively do support the following Intel SATA RAID Controller DeviceIDs: DEV_2822, DEV_282A, DEV_9D07, DEV_A106, DEV_A107, DEV_A286 and DEV_A28E.

2) Here is a comparative screenshots set for two similarZ390M machines I have, one is i3 CPU handled and the other one i5 CPU handled .

As you can see, it is strange to observe on Z390M_i5 BIOS menu, that PCIe X16 handling the NVIDIA GTX add in card is "not RST controlled" !
How a graphique card should be related to a RST driver ?

Any comments on these 2 machines , one in "SATA mode = AHCI" handling a RAID0 Array ! and the other one in "SATA mode = RAID" handling no RAID0 array ?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/storahci > `Parameter` Start – 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/storahci/ StartOverride > `Parameter` 0 – 0 (It was 3).
Restart > BIOS > Advanced > Configuration SATA > AHCI
The necessary driver was downloaded. Then I restart the PC.

HP 13m-bd0023dx. From HP's driver website for that model, I got the Intel RST v18.0.1.1138 Rev.A driver. I wanted to know which v18 was optimal to include in a Win10 USB installer. Thanks.

I do observe that Intel RSTe v15.9.8.1050 driver (IASTORAC.sys) does not support TRIM feature !
I think that is not recommended for a SATA RAID0 Array volume build with 2 classical SATA SSDs devices natively TRIM compatible (CORSAIR GTX in the example):


For the configuration above (Intel i3-8100, Z390 chipset) what do you suggest to get TRIM supported ?

According to these screenshots of my tests, TRIM is NOT working.
I do ignore why.
The Intel controller DEV_A352 is running in AHCI Mode driving a RAID0 array.

I share your point of view about TRIM command limitation due to the Intel SATA AHCI Controller, if the target drive is a RAID0 array.
Thanks for suggestion, but as you can see at #2486 I had tried the W10 "Optimizer" feature: the TRIM function is refused on this RAID0 Array device.
I will do test your mod+signed variant Intel RST v17.9 driver and let you know if I do progress.
