No wonder, because the v16.0.0.1055 Beta has the SCSI Filter driver iaStorF.sys included and the related INF files have an NTamd64.6.1 entry.

new: Intel RSTe Drivers & Software Set v5.3.1.1016 for Win7-10 dated 11/03/2017

Notes:

The package contains the Intel RSTe SATA AHCI and SATA/sSATA RAID drivers v5.3.0.1388 WHQL dated 09/26/2017 and the Intel RSTe Software v5.3.1.1016. It is suitable for Intel C600/C600+/C220/C220+ Series Chipset systems like X79, X99 and X299 running in RSTe mode. All Windows Operating Systems from Win7 up to Win10 are supported.
There are no 32bit Intel RSTe drivers v5.3.0.1388 available. 32bit Operating Systems are obviously not supported by this Drivers & Software Set.

ASUS Sabertooth X99/USB 3.1, W10 x64 21H2 NVMe i750, BIOS v4101, CPU Intel i7 5930K, 32GB DDR4, Asus GTX 1660TI 6GB DDR6
ASUS PRIME Z390M-Plus W11 x64 21H2 22000.194 NVMe 970 , BIOS v3004, 16GB DDR4, CPUs: Intel i3-8100 (4 cores) +UHD 630, i5-9400F (6 cores) +GTX 980.

Thank you so much Fernando. I tried your drivers on my P5Q deluxe with the ICH10R. I have windows 10 pro x64 on it and the controller is set to AHCI in BIOS. I tried one of the older ones and it did not work. It would dead lock at the boot screen logo with the circle animation freezing up. I just decided to try the latest ones you just released 7 hours ago and BINGO those worked and the system is very responsive now! This is with a older 120GB WD drive. I might try this on a Dell with a older controller to see if it speeds it up which has a 500GB drive. THANKS AGAIN!

I've used the Intel RST(e) 16.0.1.1018 WHQL installer and these driver also work without BSOD on the DX58SO while lowering the "MessageNumberLimit" to 8 from the default 80 ( didn't tested without modifying the registry before rebooting ).
