Sorry for been again on this, but I still have some confusion in my mind... I'm trying to update EVERYTHING of my Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe, so I made the following steps: UBU for all OROM modules (after inserction os ASMedia sata3 ROM) Intel MEI firmware update GBe firmware update (1.3 -> 1.5) ASMedia usb3 firmware update (with DOS utility) Now, I think I miss something, i.e. I remember an utility for Marvell sata3 controller of my old motherboard that update even Bios/firmware... But it's not clear for me the difference between OROM, firmware and bios, is it the same? Thank you!

No, these are different things, but some Marvell AHCI/RAID Controllers only will work properly, if the Marvell OROM, the Marvell Firmware and the Marvell Bootloader have been updated at the same time. You will find some details within the start post of >this< thread (chapter "Important Remarks" within "C. Marvell AHCI/RAID ROM modules").

Yes, if you have updated the Marvell AHCI/RAID ROM.
