Cansome 1 help me, becuz my ssd not reaching full speed, , and i dont know how to fix it, i have read most of topic in this forum, or maybe becuz of my mainboard,,not support for max speeed, i installed in m.2 slot,

- if my mainboard (m.2 slot) full supported for my sm951 for its max speed)
- dont know which driver i need, and if my setting correct or not, so can u pls check my system (u see em on my signature )
-maybe a fresh install for my system, and if possible i need all driver for my system, cuz i dont know which driver needed ( i used Driver Booster for my driver update or installed)

Signature is wrong you should have the Samsung SM951, according to A SSD benchmark.

Motherboard is fine the m.2 slot support up to 10gb's
Latest bios: X99-M-WS BIOS 3502.

Make sure m.2 is running in PCI/E mode and not sata mode :) (Should detect this on it's own)
The m.2 slot is shared with the PCIE slot check out the NB PCIE configuration in the bios!

i tried to reset/ clear the bios too, the first screen not detected the sm951 ,only my other sata hdd, thats normal or? cuz i can still install and run windows on my sm951,

i got the m.2 slot and i want to use it,
but if with this adapter, i can improve the perform of my sm951 or?

if yes i gonna buy 1, if rly needed,

and i should put it in last pci slot or the 2. one?

ur m.2 is up to 32 Gb/s and my is max 10Gb/s ,, thats the problem ?
maybe i gonna test on asus hyper m.2 or give it up

If DMI bandwidth is shared, performance on PCI-e adapter will be better than "native" M.2 (if adapter is plugged into PCI-e port with 3.0 x4 spec or mechanical x16 with minimum x4 lanes).
@DarkneZ Also, check if M.2 doesn't go to x2 2.0 if SATA ports are used.

For the test I have done, SM951 512GB AHCI was installed on DT-120 add-in card PCIe v3.0 x4 compliant.
This add-in card was plugged onto ASUS Sabertooth PCIEX16_2 slot, fully electrical x16.
Another SSD 960 PRO NVMe 1TB was installed on a Kryo add-in card PCIe v3.0 x4 compliant plugged onto ASUS Sabertooth PCIEX16_3 slot, fully electrical x8 due to my 3 cards configuration (PCIEX16_1 is for GPU card fully electrical x16).
I don't use M.2 on board slot for 2 reasons:
1) Thermal not optimal compared to a add-in solution with radiatior such as for Kryo
2) according to ASUS technical support some BIOS problems to keep v3.0 x4 "stable" on M.2 slot (go back to v2.0 x2).
Do use HWINFO64 Tool to observe in details all the PCI Express informations such as: Version, Maximum Link Width, Current Link Width, Maximum Link Speed, Current Link Speed, etc..
