Hi, im new in this stuff and really want to be able to change few things with unlocked bios. My laptop have bios v1.12, latest from Acer site. I used guide You can see in background of 1 screenshot. Everything good till "write back dump" step, I get error 167 (second screenshot).





I also attach biosdump program has created. Any chance someone can help me unlocking my bios and fix the issue? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello there, bios is write locked from os, you need spi programmer, I bet the bios is rsa signed too, so any changes to the bios file will result in a brick.
