Does anyone know if I can use ROM 184.108.40.206 for Atheros 815x on Atheros/Attansic L1? The difference between the L1 and the 815x(L1C/D/E) is that the original L1 is PCI while the later ones are PCIe. Dev ID is 1969:1048 on an Asus board (P5B-VM SE). Of course I'll have to change the dev_id with a hex editor.

I attempted it, but the system froze in Windows with all wacky sorts of distortions on the screen.
Went back to 220.127.116.11, and everything works fine. I've attached it for you if you care to post it (As far as I know it's the latest one). The difference between L1 and AR8151 (L1C/D/E) is that L1 is a PCI bus chip and the others are PCIe.
Earlier, we tried to replace Attansic L1 rom with (P5B-VM SE) - it was unsuccessful.
I have P5K SE and I have installed a new Atheros LAN ROM v18.104.22.168 module
