I found out why I was having trouble putting 'Normal', 'High' etc... I was typing 'normal' and 'high' without the first letter in Upper case, when I put the upper case it applied 'Normal' and 'High'. It is so weird not having a window pop up with all the possibilities, for some other options in BIOS a windows pop ups :x

Again ket, thanks very much for providing the voltage settings pic, I am currently using them and they seem really stable :D (way less dangerous than the Auto settings reaching sometimes 1.525 :| )

Ok it seems Gigabyte adopts > Auto, Normal, Standard, Low, Medium, High, Turbo, and Extreme as settings, but for some reason I can't set up most of them. Like I am pretty sure I am using a AX370 Gaming 5 board , and I am yet to see a 'Normal' setting in bios :x

The manual also doesn't help, it only says Default : (Auto). Is there an extended manual I haven't received?? I have yet to understand the difference between normal/standard/medium ???

I also can't select "Normal" there are some with "Standard" but I only found 2.

Ket if it's not much to ask can you provide a profile with what you believe is the most acceptable settings? *Not dangerous auto settings* for simple n00bs like me :p

Ket thanks for your answer, I read your old review, if I had read it before I wouldn't have bought G5.
BTW any board you recommend on B350 and X370????

I might buy something better in the future and I would like to have your opinion.

I agree, they are not giving proper support to their motherboards. It's also the first time I get a Gigabyte motherboard, I usually buy ASUS, (didn't want to go ASUS because most boards were having issues at the start). I picked up Gigabyte because according to their QVL it was easy to pick a set to run at 3200mhz, so I thought they had advantage compared to other brands, the components were also top quality. But QVL List was a lie, reviews that I saw were a lie, pretty disappointed.
My local store didn't sell ASRock, otherwise my pick would be ASRock Fatal1ty K4 as well.

I agree, the voltage bounces way too much, I have the "Auto"/"Default" settings with a 1600X and I get this >

Using Official F9a, until I see your new modded bios :D

Voltage reaches 1.523, ppl say it's normal because of XFR but still I think it's dangerous to reach so high. Unfortunately I am afraid of overclock in such a messy bios, I already have the soft brick issue and sometimes my PC freezes after entering windows ( no idea why, because it only happens once in 1 or 2 months - Only had this problem with Official Bios).

With modded bios MF5, I had only one bluescreen before seeing the starting windows login screen. *No idea why it happen*

      Hi,

I wanted to thank you for making this modded bios, I believe is much more stable than the current official F8.
My hope is that you can continue to improve this BIOS and prove to Gigabyte that is possible to deliver a BIOS competitive to other brands that have achieved so much more in lesser time.

I am using the default configuration, with some minor changes: XMP Profile ON, Fans at normal speed *Full Speed for me causes loud fan noise*. I am curious if you tested the new features on display, and wanted to hear your thoughts, since it gives more options to overclock, do you think it's safe to use them? And one last thing, I also wanted to know you will continue to provide new future versions of the official Gigabyte BIOS F9 and so on....
