    • Is done!!!, successfully updated with the modded bios, without any problem . As soon the computer boot up I ordered at amazon a brand new Samsung 960evo 250gb, with an Asus adapter (Asus Accessory Hyper M.2 X4 Mini Card M.2 to 32Gbit/s with PCIE slot), is there any other thing that I must know about the instalation? I just assume that this M2 with all that powerfull read and write speeds doesn't take bandwidth from the graphic card bus or lane right? Dont kill me if this sounds like a stupid question!! hahahha I dont have any idea about this just asking to make sure that the card can be installed in any of those slots without losing performance in pcie 2.0 range.!!

    • Thanks a lot Fernando, Im at the office right now, don't have here my pc, I will try tonight to flash with the modded bios, if boots up, I will buy the 960 evo. is pretty cheap for its performance.
Can I upload and show you my modded bios before upgrade? in order to make sure that I didn't screw something more!! haha I very appreciate your help, thanks really.

    • I was trying your tutorial anyways, in order to see its complexity... im getting : (reconstructVolume: root volume can't be grown) when I tried to save the modded bios at the UEFITool
here goes an ScreenShot: https://ibb.co/cixY2k Im doing something wrong? has this files some kind of certification, or validation? , I mean if that thing is signed and could it fail because the signature is invalid due to manipulation

    • Hi Fernando!!! thanks for your advice really.!!! And yes, Im a programmer and sometimes a casual gamer, I dont know if it will worth, but my passion for hardware and all that kind of stuff tells me that I must try it!!! hahahah
Is there any risk of damaging the mainboard inserting this module? I remember years ago when I updated an old motherboard award bios 775 that I had, from windows asus utility and just got stuck, for hours, I rebooted, and never boot up again. :( now Im like afraid about the same thing with this one. I think that any kind of bios related operation could be risky.
A friend of mine told me that the NVME speeds are more impressive just in paper results, he says that installing this kind of drive in this pc will be more complicated that the benefits that I can get like boot 2 o 3 sec faster into windows or loading some kind of game.
What do you think about Pcie 2.0? will be able to get at least half the speed of the device? 3.200mb/s is imposible, but at least 1.500 mb/s??? and what about the one you mentioned in that comment at the tutorial: ( Some NVMe SSDs like Samsung's 950 Pro SSD are natively bootable in LEGACY mode (CSM and loading of Option ROMs has to be enabled within the BIOS), because their Controller chip contains its own NVMe supporting Option ROM module.) I just thinking about avoid bios modifications hahahah or leave as the last option for now
